In the unlikely event that the race isn’t sold out, you can still register at packet pickup on Friday evening, or at the race. If you wait until race day, you’ll have to get there no later than 5 a.m. in order to complete the process before the 7 a.m. start.
Your name will be printed on the front, but ONLY if you register by May 23rd!
Unfortunately, no. There will be too many runners to add dogs and strollers into the mix.
Yes, however our permit with the city requires a strict cut-off time: You must reach Mile 4 by 8:00 a.m. or you’ll have to take the shuttle back to the Start/Finish.
Yes! Pacers help you achieve your personal goal by finishing the half marathon within a set period of of time. Volunteer pace group leaders will be stationed in the start corral holding signs with their assigned pace. They’ll be running “even effort,” which means they’ll run every mile at approximately the same pace. Due to varying conditions out on the course we can’t guarantee an exact finish time for each pace group. There are a total of 7 pace groups available:

1:30 (6:52/mi)
1:40 (7:38/mi)
1:50 (8:23/mi)
2:00 (9:09/mi)
2:10 (9:55/mi)
2:20 (10:41/mi)
2:30 (11:27/mi)

A qualified pace group leader is an experienced half marathoner who can run continually even splits, and when course conditions prevent this (i.e., on the two big hills), make up any lost time over the entirety of the race (not over one or two miles).

There are 7 pace groups available, with one pacer and one alternate per group: 1:30 (6:52/mi), 1:40 (7:38/mi), 1:50 (8:23/mi), 2:00 (9:09/mi), 2:10 (9:55/mi), 2:20 (10:41/mi), and 2:30 (11:27/mi). You must register and pay for the race before you can be considered.

To be considered, you must:
– Have completed at least 3 half marathons at your desired pace time or faster
– Be registered for the race
– Agree to write a race recap
– Wear a sports/GPS watch to ensure a consistent pace and total time goal

Pacers get the following perks:
